Since its doors opened last September, Big Apple Yoga has quickly become a sanctuary for the residents of Paris. The owner, Janelle Watters-Oliel, decided to open the studio after she moved to Paris and realized Parisians could really benefit from the style of yoga she had experienced and learned in New York. She was inspired by New York’s “vibe” and increasing eco-friendliness.
The studio offers 25 courses during the week, mostly in French and several in English. The types of yoga offered include Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Yin, Anusara, Yoga for Beginners, Bhakti Flow, Hatha Flow, New York Flow, and Yoga for Pregnant Women. The course description and schedule of the classes are available on studio’s official website, though on an average day there is no need to make a reservation; clients are welcomed to come 10-15 minutes before class begins.
Currently the studio is offering 10 days of unlimited classes for 35 euros, which means 10 consecutive days of as many classes as you like. The complete price listing is also on the site. Big Apple Yoga is the perfect atmosphere to learn to follow your breath and evolve as a person. Namaste.
